This is one escape wear item that can radically improve your escape - whether you are wearing them on a plane, in a noisy New York hotel room (or if your room mate is a snorer).

I’ve tried countless earplugs - all of Boots own brand range, and even ordered and reordered from a special earplug website.  But the ones that I’ve found the best are Kathmandu’s travel earplugs.  At £1.49 for 2 pairs these are probably the best value purchases you can make before your trip.

It’s also worth buying and trying out your earplugs before a major trip - I have small ears and some plugs just fall straight out - particularly those waxy ones that are supposed to be really good. 

And make sure you put them in your hand luggage if you want to get some sleep (or just some rest) on the plane, or in your make up bag for finding in the middle of a sleepless night!
