If you have one minute a day you can start using this DVD.

The moves are simple, and give you energy and vitality by drawing in kundalini energy - which is all around us - and raising it up through the body.

I was feeling very unfit when I bought this DVD, but now that I am much fitter it still pushes me to my limits.

Gurmukh talks a lot about about reaching that point when you want to stop but going beyond it, so that when the going gets rough in life we can keep going.  This teaching has helped me to do Zumba, to get through being lost on a mountain in China, to keep going to get where I want to be.  Aside from all of the celebrity recommendations the truth is that Gurmukh is another wonderfully caring and supportive teacher - even though I’ve never met her, and I highly recommend this DVD.  Even if you don’t feel that you can do it all straight away, just by listening to her this DVD can be beneficial.

The exercises go beyond more pedestrian yoga; releasing anger, healing the nervous system and opening up the body and mind, and you don’t have to tie yourself in knots to do it.  It’s really inspirational and accessible, exactly what I believe yoga should be.

There is also a great meditation section at the end of the DVD.  My family think it’s hilarious, especially when I am lying down listening to the gong meditation (this is my favourite bit!)

Just one word of caution.  The link here is to an NTSC version of the DVD so please check that this is compatible with your system before you order.

If you think it may not be, Gurmukh also has other books and videos which might be useful to you.
