Room Of Interior Silence
As far as I know this is an experience that is only offered at the Salon Sensoriale in Chianciano Terme, but I thought I’d tell you about it anyway.
It’s a big red egg that you sit in, while listening to music on headphones in a shadowy light.
I loved the description of it so much, that even though it sounded like something out of a 70s movie - or spoof 70s movie it drew me to this spa.
The spa was certainly not a disappointment, but I’m afraid to say that the egg was.
The music was jazzy rather than ethereal and despite people being very considerate in the room itself we could still hear the feet of other people walking around the spa.
Definitely give it a try if you are in the spa, but not worth the journey for this particular one alone I’m afraid.
