Salt Steam Room
A salt steam room is essentially the same as any other steam room except that rather than a particular oil or scent the steam is infused with salt. This is also known as
halotherapy
(which gives me quite a nice image of a little halo). Anyway, salt has a number of reputed benefits and if you've ever experienced the positive feeling of a dip in the ocean then you'll probably get the same kind of benefits from a salt steam room.
In particular the hot salt steam is supposed to be very good for sinus problems and respiratory problems
(if the steam doesn't irritate you). Just be aware that all that salt and steam can really make your nose run, even for a few days afterwards (just as a dip in the sea can do), so be sure to pack your tissues.
