Peace Pagoda, Battersea Park

I know that this is going to be included in my China trip in London, and it is a beautiful shrine - although the last time I visited the peace was shattered a little bit by a personal trainer taking a couple through their military fitness training by running round and round it - I kid you not.  After they had gone I actually read the notes - apparently you’re not even supposed to walk on the upper floor - oops!

Anyway the real reason that this didn’t make it as a Pearl Recommendation is that my London shrine / temple is the Buddhapadipa Temple in Wimbledon.

Don’t get me wrong, some of these are excellent, but I couldn’t, in good conscience give them a Pearl Recommendation.  Sometimes they were just beaten to the punch, or I couldn’t decide a clear winner, other times they had a lot right, but I felt they just weren’t there.  I don’t really want to give bad reviews, but anything I felt was really best avoided you’ll find in the Jellyfish section.
