“Tonight I can write the saddest lines.

Write, for example, ”The night is shattered

and the blue stars shiver in the distance.”

Pablo Neruda

I’m sitting on a train and I’m looking around and, although my heart tells me that I’m the only one in this pain, I know that everyone on this carriage has or one day will know the pain of a broken heart.

A lot of people give in to it, but I’m not going to be one of them.

So I’m going somewhere, to a supposedly healing garden, so I can research it for this site, sit and drink some tea, read one of my healing books and maybe leave it a little better.

All of these escapes are things that might make you feel better, or at least show you that others have loved and lost too.

I learnt when I studied Reiki that when we close our hearts, usually after heartbreak, we lock in the pain too.  The only release is to open our hearts again - let out the pain and let in the love that is all around us.  I hope that I can do it and I hope that you can too.

Love Pearl

P.S. This is the garden.

P.P.S. This is what happened after the garden.
