Plate by Zumba™ is a brand new healthy eating program. Let me be clear, it's not a "diet", it's about learning to navigate food in a healthier way, fuel your lifestyle (and your family's lifestyle!)
It is not about willpower because, guess what? WILLPOWER DOESN'T WORK! Our appetite is a wonderful mechanism that tells us when our body needs nutrients and we're going to work with it – not against it!
Starving our bodies doesn't work, tricking our bodies with chemicals doesn't work, eating processed things that masquerade as food doesn't work.
What works is remembering that we are all beautiful, amazing, unique people and falling in love with ourselves and with food all over again.
I want to coach you, just as I do with Zumba Fitness, to remember just how much fun nutrition can be. In the same way that we took back being active and "fitness" from having to stand on a treadmill or do sit ups (I don't know, you might love that?) I want us to take back nutrition from all the misinformation and faddy diets we've been exposed to.
It's hard to rebuild trust in fitness and nutrition, we've been harangued about it from every corner. Even the government guidelines have been woefully wrong (margarine!!!!) but I hope you will try this program with me and see if it can make you happier, healthier and way more fit!
If you have any questions please contact me on 07770 846 284 or firstname.lastname@example.org or read down for the FAQ (who, what, where, when, how) and how you can get started with me.
I am not running a course at the moment but please do contact me if you are interested and I am also open to speaking to groups about healthy eating.

This program is all about getting back to food that is recognizable as food – away from processed and factory farmed foods and understanding the differences that makes to our bodies.
It will include chocolate!
It's going to include a lot of vegetables, fruit, grains, beans as well as good quality meat and eggs for those who want it. If you like I'll be happy to send you the basic food chart free of charge so you can get a good idea.
It's not about saying you'll never eat a cupcake again (if you know me you know that's not going to happen!) but like fitness it's getting the basics right so you can enjoy yourself when you're not exercising. I'll personally be recommending getting your day to day diet full of nutrition so that when you have something in the red zone it won't break the bank!
The good news is that getting your basic nutrition right is going to help your body when you do have those sweet treats or processed food.
